Happy New Year 2014!

Welcome 2014! We have had an awesome year and just can't wait to see what 2014 holds for our family. We are truly grateful to have so many amazing people in our lives. The love that we share in both Jason and my family makes our lives joyful and blessed. We had a great time visiting Grandma and Grandpa's for New Years! Here are some highlights: swimming in the warm pool, pirate treasure hunt, geocaching (or geocamping if you are Colton), new year's bingo, bunco & fondue, balloon popping (both kids and adults), Katie & Colton playing constantly, the stomach flu! (Noah), Colton eating all the bread, and Frozen. Grandma always does so much work to make sure that we have a great time- and we always do!

Merry Christmas 2013

Merry Christmas 2013! We had a great holiday season and a wonderful Christmas. On Christmas Eve we played kickball at the gym, delivered cookies and caroled, everyone came over to our place for dinner- which was pizza and sandwiches! Yum. Then back to Grammy & Papa's for our Christmas Nativity and fun Christmas bags. The nativity this year was so great- Katie loved it extra because little Penny made the perfect baby Jesus and with Katie playing Mary it was so sweet for her. The kids got what they wanted for Christmas this year- Noah an ipod touch, Adam a basketball hoop, Katie barbies and a Frozen castle. It was a great year and we feel truly blessed to always be surrounded by so much wonderful and loving family.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a truly wonderful Thanksgiving. We are so blessed and it was great to share the day with almost the whole family! I love getting together- the girls did a craft, the kids played bingo, the boys watched football, the cousins played, we went and saw the movie Frozen, and had a delicious dinner. Great food, great company, and just so thankful for all the many blessings in my life!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from Spongebob, Link, Vampire Princess, and Peter Venkman. It was Noah's first year trick or treating with friends instead of us and he got so much candy!! Katie was sick, but able to go down the block so she could at least stick her costume on for a little while. We watched "Watcher in the Woods." Super scary and fun Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch on Thursday with my Mom, Michelle, and June. I was just going to skip it this year because it's been so wet and cold but with Katie and June very excited we decided to go for it. They had a great time- they do love being together. They loved the hay bale maze and only got lost in it twice. Aunt Michelle to the rescue on that one! They enjoyed the hay ride and picking out a pumpkin. They didn't spend much time deliberating but knew right away which ones they wanted. They raced rubber ducks, climbed the hay jump, and slid down the somewhat wet slides in the fort. By far the favorite part of the day though was the kittens! Petting and holding the kittens was bliss! They just loved those soft furry little ones.
